Effect of Sulphadimethylpyrimidine on the Microbial Synthesis of Thiamine and Nicotinic Acid in Human Intestine

چکیده
capacity to synthesize a large amount of s01I\ essential vitamins which are absorbed a.nutilized by the host animal and that bacterio~ static agents like sulphonamides can effectively inhibit this intestinal synthesis of the vitaminsWith these drugs as new tools and with improve technique of estimation, it has been shown Wf some nutrition experts and bacteriologists tha rats can synthesize some members of B-comple^' vitamins K and E in the intestine. Najar et o. ? (1943, 1944), Ellinger et al. (1944, 194%' Ellinger and Coulson (1944) and Oppel by conducting experiments on human subjec have reported that similar synthesis of thiamin?' riboflavin, nicotinic acid and biotin takes P^c also in the human intestine. They have furtne^ shown that insoluble sulphonamides as sulpha guanidine and sulphasuxidine, because of thel poor absorption through the intestine, indue maximum inhibition in the biosynthesis of *n above vitamins of the B group. Kornberg et ^ (1944) in course of their study of the bl0~ synthesis of vitamin K succeeded in producing the deficiency of this vitamin in rats by using soluble sulphonamides as sulphapyrazine, sU '

3-Carboxy-1-sulfopyridin-1-ium chloride ([CPySO3H]+Cl-) as a novel ionic organocatalyst for thecondensation of aldehydes and 2-methylindole to synthesize bis(2-methyl-1H-indole) derivatives inacetonitrile at room temperature has been developed. Some tetrakis (2-methyl-1H-indole)derivatives have also been synthesized by the reaction of 2,2'-(butane-1,4-diylbis(oxy))dibenzaldehyde and 2-methylind...
متن کاملThiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1) as an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of 4-(3H)-Quinazolinone derivatives using grinding method.
Herein we explore facile synthesis of 4-(3H)-Qunazolinone derivatives, achieved by the cyclocondensation of anthranilic acid, aromatic amines and triethyl orthoformate in presence of thiamine hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) as a catalyst, using grinding method. This protocol offers several advantages such as reusability of catalyst, excellent yield, shorter reaction time and economic availability.Qu...

A pot experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of foliar spray of salicylic acid (0, 50, 100 ppm), ascorbic acid (0, 100, 200 ppm) and thiamine (0, 50, 100 ppm) on vegetative growth, flowering and photosynthetic pigments of marigold (Calendula officinalis L.) plants at greenhouse of SB University of Kerman, Iran. Results showed that application of salicylic acid and thiamine inc...

The effects of hydrochloric and butyric acids supplementation to broiler chicken diets were investigated on performance, apparent protein digestibility, intestinal microbial population, carcass characteristics and intestinal histology. In these experiments, 280 male Ross 308 one-day old chicks were assigned to 7 treatments. Each treatment included 4 replicates of 10 chicks. Data were anal...
